Amazon Stock Price Chart

The Amazon stock price chart shows a peak price of $183 on 19 November 2021.

In March of 2020 the Amazon price was $90. The Covid pandemic saw a lot of stocks tumble. However the Amazon stock stayed strong throughout the pandemic.

Amazon sales increased since 2019 and profits gained for significantly higher.

By January of 2023 the Amazon stock price settled at $86. This represents a little over a 50% gain on the current price of $134.

One could argue that Amazon stock is way over priced and that $80 represents fair value all considering. In this respect I would throw caution to the wind and hold back from going all in buying Amazon stock.

Amazon stock crash in 2023?

Another mini crash which could occur over the the course of 6 months to 1 year could see the price of AMZN once again reach $80 lows.

Now may not be a good time to invest in Amazon stock unless you are going to sit it out for 3 to 5 years.

The likelihood that the Amazon stock price could reach $260 is high over the next 3 years. However before this happens – if it’s going to occur – there could be a significant down slide in the AMZN stock price.

I believe $80 for Amazon stock is more than generous. I just feel that the Amazon stock chart is crying out that a reset is well overdue and that the Amazon price of begin to crash.

Competition is growing in the online retail space and this as well as heavy processing costs could impact Amazon’s stock price growth over the next few years.
